Why choose a lightbox sign?

To complement or replace classic wall-mounted signs,light boxes give your commercial premises greater visibility, both day and night.

It comes in the form of a wall-mounted sign box fixed to the facade and equipped with LED lighting. This simple, economical solution is often chosen by retailers located in shopping malls, airports or railway stations.

How are illuminated sign boxes made?

With a flat or curved face, in vertical or horizontal format, the illuminated sign box is customized on one side only, with the other side fixed to the wall. If it’s double-sided, perpendicular to your facade, it’s called an illuminated projecting sign.

Whatever its shape, the box structure is made of anodized aluminum, folded and lacquered with paint. The visible side consists of a diffusing Plexiglas panel. An aluminum plate can be laminated to the Plexiglas to opacify certain parts of the decoration. The aluminum is then perforated to let light through, for example through cut-out letters. A customised, digitally printed adhesive film can also be applied to the light box.

The sign box contains LED or fluorescent-tube lighting. Backlighting can also be added to illuminate the wall. The text and company logo are thus highlighted.
